What is more painful than...

...online trainings? Seriously. Watching someone else's screen & mouse on your computer while they explain every single little step involved in using a program sucks. Having dozens of other people on the call asking inane questions and making unnecessary comments is even worse. Especially when you actually don't have access to more than half of what is being covered.

I curse the person who created this tool. Curse them.

My colleague suggested it was perhaps as painful as drowning in a pool of fiery lava. I added being attacked by fire ants beforehand that were eating you while you fell and drowned in the lava. Perhaps.

Any other suggestions? A prize to the winner...

NYC

I'm noticing a trend...a few posts and then a gap of about a year. Typical for me. I feel like writing, though, so I'm adding a random post.

My new apartment is really great. We (my cousin, Brittany, and I) hit the jackpot! And it is all furnished thanks to our fantastic family and friends! Sweetness.

I am so excited to be able to have people visit and stay on my couch (like I've been doing for the last year). It's also getting to be absolutely gorgeous outside. Fall is in the air and I am loving it! Central Park is just a short walk away and I look forward to weekend afternoons spent hanging out and playing in the park.

Things are starting to look up...
